Vision & Mission
- Create better communication inside Auroville and build a bridge between Auroville, its local surrounding and the world.
- Using the Web TV as a modern and powerful communication tool for Auroville and its residents.
- A benefit for the local villages amongst whom the Auroville International Township is emerging, by developing goodwill through effective communication regardless of boundaries and cultural differences.

Methodology
- Collecting, recording and broadcasting aspects of Auroville - places, people and events in and around Auroville.
- Shooting and broadcasting events related to  Auroville - worldwide and live.
- Creating ad-hoc programs containing information, visual impressions and interviews.
- Exploring and developing new ways of communication to create a valuable link between people of different cultures.
- Involving people who are interested in this project, both inside and outside of Auroville.
- Developing and preparing specific formats and programs, offering workshops and projects involving schools and other educational centers in Auroville.

AurovilleTV started to broadcast on the Internet on August 13th 2008.
