By means of archive footage and images taken between 2008-09, the documentary delves deep into the thoughts of Sri Aurobindo. The interviews are direct testimonies of people who are taking part in the Auroville experiment and the Ashram. Scholars and researchers are interviewed who, for years, have been doing studies on Sri Aurobindo. In his vision and experience, man is a being in transition and is, at present, undergoing an evolutionary process leading to a new human species which will be less limited than ours.

The traditional dawnfire (fire at dawn) during a collective meditation at sunrise in Auroville's amphitheatre, for celebrating Sri Aurobindo's birth date on August 15, which is also the celebration date of India's independence. Aurovilian and friends participate in this gathering, enriched also by flower decorations which are prepared also collectively in the previous afternoon, and change every year.
