Dalai Lama in Auroville

 February 28, 1968 on a barren plateau of South India, in the State of Tamil Nadu, 124 countries of the world participate in the inauguration of Auroville, a project to set up an international city based on unity of mankind. Tibet is also present. In the years to come, the link between the people of Tibet and Auroville will grow and become stronger. On January 20, 2009 the Dalai Lama, Tibets spiritual leader visited Auroville for the third time.
