Watch these first impressions and Interviews captured during the inauguration ceremony of the first Auroville Filmfestival, taken place September 22nd, 2009 at Auroville Town Hall Plattform. Filmed and edited by Tlaloc, interviews by Malenka.

In the evening at 8 p.m. the festival screenings were opened by ‘Verukku Neer’, a film by Revathy Asha Menon, in Tamil with English subtitles.
The movie is an adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Rajam Krishna. She was awarded the Sahitya Academy award for this novel.

Revathy is an indian Actress, Director and Social Activist and is one of the three judges of the festival.
